Strategy posting order that requires activation by user.

I would like to be able to have a strategy function as a signal generator. It should create the entry, stop loss and optionally a profit target. These should show up in a chart without the orders being active. The user then has the option to change/activate this order.

I would then like to be able to hand the order to a particular strategy to process.

Is this possible? If not, are all the hooks available for me to be able to do this using a custom coded strategy and graphics on the chart?

Thanks for the post and welcome to our forums Wil - per default this setup would not be supported unfortunately - you would either have a strategy or indicator script coded up, while the indicator would be visual only and the strategy would be placing orders upon hitting your set conditions, it would not park them or allow activation via a custom button. This could be realized though via C# custom coding, although the scope we can support in this territory would be limited here.
