Is this Possible?

I'm wondering if the following would function with the backtesting performance reports. The idea is to create a strategy which only places trades based on mouse clicks on a static chart. For example, I start at far left, click the mouse, which makes the strategy long. Then later I click again (or some hot key, whatever) to exit. I go through whole chart doing this. Then, when done, open the performance report window.

I understand this is probably a huge task. I'm trying to get a feel if such a thing is possible and if so, even a little bit of guidance as to what direction to go in.

Could be done, but it would be a large and complex project. Nothing we have would support helping you do that it would be all on you to figure out the mechanics but I can think of a way to do it.
