Trading Only From 8:45am - 11am (CDT)?

Hi there,

If you are using the condition builder to create a strategy, is there any way to set a condition to only trade within a certain timeframe?

Using functions such as ToTime() or OnBarUpdate() (gleaned from other forum posts) seem to work, but I don't know how to use these in the Strategy Wizard. Is there a way to use these in that step-by-step construct?

FYI, I'm pretty close to trying my hand at straight scripting, but I'm trying to see where the condition builder falls short, and where it's useful.

GM Spider, yes you could create time filter within the wizard interface as well for your conditions, please see the last section on this link for an example - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...on_builder.htm
