Strategy won't enable on playback

    Strategy won't enable on playback

    What would cause this? Playback is running, I set Enabled to True, and it immediately reverts to False when I click Apply or Close.

    Thanks for writing in abd U am happy to assist you.

    In case the NinjaScript strategy has errors then your strategy can get disabled.

    Please look into the Log tab in Control Center for any error messages. If you can send the strategy to support[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com then I can look into the issue.

      I didn't realize there was a special playback account. Once I set it to Playback101, it worked fine

            Hello whitcoe,

            It is possible there is a NinjaScript error happening. Generally when you enable a strategy and it disables immediately this points to an error that is most likely happening in the OnBarUpdate or possibly in the initialize.

            Without seeing the code this is not easy to say what is happening. There are a couple of ways to resolve this.

            You can try opening the output window "Tools -> Output WIndow" and once the window is open, try enabling the strategy. Any errors should be listed in the output window if it is script related. This could help in narrowing down where the problem is.
