    Finding Chart Draw/ChartObject Source

    I am having some trouble understanding how to access an item drawn on the chart by a custom indicator I am adding from my Strategy. I do not have the source for the indicator, and the exposed Plots are of no use in automation.

    I have been through all of the suggested methods I could find searching the forums;

    Iterating over ChartControl.ChartObjects, attempting to access the DrawObjects of the Indicator, etc.

    When I double click the item I am trying to detect (an up or down arrow drawn above a bar), NT is able to associate it to the Indicator somehow, as it brings up the Indicator list showing the one that created it highlighted.

    I am trying to find where this link exists, from what I can gather the arrow is being drawn in the overridden Plot method.

    Welcome to our forums deterministic - best option here woul be checking with the creator of the 3rd party study and asking if they have perhaps a more automation friendly version available for you to use as well.

    What tag value is associated with the object drawn on your chart?
