Futures Kinetick and Forex IB

Hi, I　have a question.

I trade with IB on forex and futures, but for futures, I　want to use Kinetick feed.
How would it be possible to get
1) Futures feed from Kinetick
2) Forex feed from IB
3) and execute trade for both futures and forex with IB

If I　establish connection to Kinetick first then to IB, I　get both futures and forex feed from Kinetick. But this is not what I　want.

What happens if I delete mapping of Kinetick symbol to all the forex instruments on the instruments manager?
Then would Ninja consider that Kinetick does not provide Forex data, and start receiving forex data feed from IB which is the second connection?

Thanks for the note.

Unfortunately this setup would not be supported.

Since IB and Kinetick both support all markets each one will overwrite the other if one is connected first.

How it work in NinjaTrader is off of instrument type (Futures/Forex/Equities/Index). If a provider supports data on that instrument type it will prioritize data for that connection if it is connected first.

We are looking at adding a more flexible data manager in our next version of NinjaTrader however unfortunately you would need to get all data from Kinetick in this case.

Kinetick offers many FX feeds, please contact kinetick at support at kinetick dot com and they may be able to get the exact same forex feed that IB uses and as such the data would match and could be used for accurate trading.

This was a dealbreaker

This problem -- your insistence that FX data be supplied by Kinetick and my IB FX connection would be blocked -- was the sole reason I abandoned Kinetick after a short trial, despite my great enthusiasm for the futures data it provided.

As we all know, FX has no centralized market. Each broker provides his own data feed and each executes orders based upon prices he provides. The Kinetick FX data weren't even close to my IB feed, rendering my charts useless for day trading.

I'm disappointed to hear that NT's future "solution" would apparently make this situation somehow even worse.

To follow up,

The Kinetick feed offers over 10 different bank feeds. Are you sure you looked into to make sure that Kinetick did not offer the bank feed that IB used and you were using the correct symbol?

Furthermore, the new changes would improve this area.

How 'bout instead of my paying Kinetick for something I neither wanted nor needed I just get to use the free, exact FX feed from my FX broker?

Had that option existed I would gladly have paid Kinetick for my futures data and we both would have been happier.

I just need an option in the account connection to enable me to choose which feed I　wish to acquire from each connection.
Ideal option is to be able to choose symbols, but if that takes time, an option to choose instrument type (like futures, forex) would be okay.

Well, I subscribe to kinetick live account, but I'm not able to enjoy their performance because of this reason.
