i would like to include todays close (after 6:00pm in germany in my example) from xetra in combination with yahoo as data provider for free eod data... problem is, i only see data from yesterday on in my backtesting charts, even if the eod data from today are already fixed and published on yahoo (they may not be classified as historical, but they are there and for free use). How can i adjust the strategy, so that it includes eod data from today when backtesting (date is set on until today)?

Hello puravida,
Unfortunately we have no control on data availability for Yahoo-based connection. It's a delayed end of day service and what you see on their website is not always what is available through their API.
If your question is more on strategy bar processing, you can set CalculateOnBarClose = false and it will process every bar including the last one.Ryan M.NinjaTrader Customer Service

I am not sure how exactly it works over their API, but i have this working in ExcelDDE. So it is actually possible to get historical data and the eod from the current day over yahoo (i am doing this all the time).
It don't has to be yahoo btw, i need that eod data for the current day for german stocks, i will gladly use any other free data provider this works in combination with NT. I am just curios, since it works in Excel, i can not believe it will not in NT.

I'm not aware of a free alternative to get this data. You could look into Interactive Brokers connection which offers good support for non-us equities. If you have the data external to NinjaTrader and want to bring it in, look into the historical data manager, import feature.Ryan M.NinjaTrader Customer Service
