Sure, for IB you would definitely work with halpPip as setting, I just checked. On either Ideal or IdealPro the signifcant digits offered as quote would fall into the halfPip range.

Per default NT would close the open position and then issue the needed order to get you into the new desired position - if you're working in our unmanaged mode for example, you could issue directly the reverse qty needed and thus do it in one execution.

In regard to this another question, if I am long 25k and now I want to go short 25k, NT needs to sell 50K, which is one transaction and one commission, instead I get - sell 25k and then sell another 25k or two transactions and two commissions (it is same minimal commission for transaction less than 100k). Can we force NT to do one transaction?

If you are using the DOM, just do it manually. i.e., just make your order quantity twice the long position, and sell. If you use the "REV" button, you will just get the behavior that you mention. Many of us have already protested it, and I believe there is even a tracking number with NT Development to do it correctly.
