using higher timeframe indicator in strategy builder wizard

    Hello,

Anyone know how I can incorporate a higher timeframe indicator into a wizard strategy builder?

For example I want to say if the one hour macd is singal is above zero and above its AVG
and 15 min macd is above zero but below its AVG then do this or that?

btw-I am not a coder I can only use the wizard.

Any advise is appreciated in advance!

    kian,

Unfortunately this is only possible using the strategy wizard. It is only possible using custom coding.

If you would like to learn more about NinjaScript, please let me know. The strategy wizard is not much different than coding as you are using similar logic, just a slightly different way of communicating that to the PC. Otherwise, your best bet would be a NinjaScript consultant.

Please let me know if I may assist further.

        Kian,

Please keep in mind that Gain only offers 24 hours of data availability for tick / minute time frames.

Please ensure you are setting your "Days to load" property correctly. This is accessible by right clicking your chart > go to "Data series" > in the "data" section".

If you are still having an issue with this, please send a support request to support {at} ninjatrader {dot} com with a description of your issue, as well as "ATTN : Adam" in the message body.

I look forward to helping you resolve your issue.
