Problem with Strategy Testing

I am testing a strategy on 150 tick ES chart. I am trying to backtest the strategy on 6 months period using a 24/7 session.
Ninja get stuck while backtesting. I have not got any errors of stack overflow or low memory.
Is there any limitations on how many bars I can backtest the strategy.

I have purchased the tick data for ES and imported it into Ninja.

Hi sherazwaqar,

There are no limitations on # of bars except for Windows memory limits that are set per application. Do you have the historical tick data to backtest this? If you have the data and the backtest does not go through, it could have to do with how your strategy is coded. Try with the provided SampleMaCrossOver strategy as one that will generally produce trades and not have any coding issues.

I test it month by month and the strategy worked fine. I am testing it on a Quadcore with 3 GB of RAM using Windows 7 32 bit.

Send to support 'at' ninjatrader 'dot' com and include a link to this thread.
You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
