    Backtesting Bug

On occasion (now all the time), when I attempt to perform backtests, I get no results because the dates change themselves to April 2006.

I posted this in another forum accidentally (inappropriate forum). Thanks so much.

crimsonite, if you go under Help > About in NT's Control Center ->> what NT version are you using here please?

Would you see the same if you attempting to backtest the default installed SampleMACrossOver?

What dataprovider are you using here?

    Thanks,

      - Version 7.0.1000.8 (Live)
      - Using CQG
      - Using one of my own strategies. It does this with every single strategy however.

The dates have changed from 4/13/2006 to the real dates, but no data.

Thanks, what symbol / instrument are you running on here? Can you create a regular of it for your desired time range and it would populate ok?

I'm using the ES 3-12, 5 minute chart. It won't work for any instrument.

Everything else works just fine, including charts and indicators, and the sim and order placement.

Note: it is now working for all my indicators but my two new ones. I recoded one of them by hand and it started working. I'm positive the code is solid.

Can you please contact me via Help > Mail to Support (subject Attn Bertrand) so I could review your log and traces?

Correction: it did not do this, I was just looking at old data. It does not backtest at all, or optimize for any strategy.

                    I fixed the problem

I right clicked on the chart and reloaded all historical data and ninjascript.
