strategy distribution protection/control

i have a strategy i'd like to share with a few traders, but don't want them to have the ability to pass it along to whomever they want. is there a way to provide that type of protection/control of the strategy? if so, please point me in the right direction. all input is appreciated.

many thanks........does that feature require the user to provide machine id number to me in order to activate the strategy?

Yes. The machine ID would be required to use protected .dll's

It is not that simple. You will have to write code inside the Strategy to read and match the users' MachineID, and exit unless the MachineID is authorized.

Hi,

I am just also looking into finding out ways that can help me prevent my end users of my script from copying and replicating the scripts to other unauthorized users, and came about this thread.

Is this method still valid for NinjaTrader 7 now? Also, does that means if I would want to control my distributed script so that I only allow single installation per distributed script, I would need to get the full/paid version of CliSecure ?
