outstretchedarm, sorry I'm not following you here - the NinjaScript order entry methods such as EnterLong() and AtmStrategyCreate() do not have any connection - it's using either one or the other not both.

The regular NinjaScript methods like your EnterLong() would be suitable for backtesting as well, while the AtmStrategy methods are only workable in Market Replay and Realtime Trading.

I would highly suggest taking some time to work wit the SampleAtmStrategy first, for this have an Atm template with the name 'AtmStrategyTemplate' created on either your DOM or ChartTrader first.

I understand that. But why isnt the ATM strategy exiting the trades that my strategy enters. Why is it all green and never fires?

I'm not following you here - are you attempting perhaps to backtest with the ATM strategy methods in your NinjaScript > that would not be possible unfortunately, please run it realtime or in Market Replay.

Then I'm not exactly sure what you issue is : please run the SampleAtmStrategy in realtime or Market Replay to get a better understanding how this process should work. It will buy on a limit order and once filled apply the 'AtmStrategyTemplate' set exit parameters.

ATM's are not reported in the Strategies tab anymore with NT7.
