voice alert listening function

Is there a system listener function whereby when a voice alert is generated, the listener can tell my strategy?

For example, if there's high priority news alert out of UK, i want to buy/sell the mkt. I know currently my news alert actually says the news:

"FOMC rate announcement".

The listener would know that the system invoke the voice speak function, and therefore tell my strategy.

So basically something that tells me the voice speak function was used/invoked.

Unfortunately there are not built in NinjaScript methods that can listen for sound playback event. Hopefully some community members can provide direction on how you would capture this event.

There is not a dedicated or alternate NinjaScript function to monitor for sound playback event.

is there a function whereby we can trace (any sort of or unique) alert was triggered then?
that is not voice driven, but simply the trigger for appearing on the alert window..

Unfortunately there is not a function that can check when alerts are raised either.

If you can get to the source code that generates the alert, then you can copy and use in a condition for your strategy. If you don't have this, there isn't anything built in to NinjaScript that will allow you to intercept any of the events raised by other indicators/strategies.

is the alert itself recodable, just like coding a strategy?

Hello ziggymeister, if you know the conditions under which the alert is raised then you could for sure custom code this in your strategy as well and then act on those conditions automatically.
