    Getting around constant NT freezes

Every morning i find my NinjaTrader frozen. I'm running a strategy during the night, and last message in the output window is that the connection has been lost?
The strategy can survive even the heaviest loads during CB interventions, but can't survive loosing the connection.
And it seems to me that the crashes are happening every time when the connection is off for a longer period of time
Is there any way to go around this?

Can you please tell me which version of NinjaTrader you are using, NT V7.0.1000.7? You can check this under Help--> About.

Have you ever been in front of your PC while this occurred? Or is your PC idle? Is it possible your PC is going to sleep or hibernating after so many hours of inactivity?

My computer has been set up NOT to idle or hibernate, I'm using the latest version of NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.7, Interactive Brokers, windows 7, 10gb ram quad core AMD, SSD drive. I've never seen the actual event, but it is running without problems for 5-6 hours, then after a connection goes out, it just freeze.
And it's happening every morning between 8-10am eastern time.
I trade Forex, and the strategy monitors 28 currency pairs, and as i said no problem during heaviest loads
I use MyCustomHandler as 1 sec Timer and I'm also getting an error " More than 100 subsequent user events" when there is no connection

In order for me to help determine why this is occurring, I will need to review your log and trace files from the last date that this occurred.

Please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and include your most recent log and trace files, Attn: Matthew in the Subject line and a reference to this thread.

You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
        • The log file will be named ‘log.20111108.txt’

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
        • The trace file will be named ‘trace.20111108.txt’

Please attach both of these files to your next response. If these files are over 4MB, please let me know and I can respond with alternative instructions.
