    If was making a mistake in my code and typed EMA(fast)[-2] instead of EMA(fast)[2]. However I noticed this does work (no error during running) and the figure seems to be valid.
    What is the significance of a negative number as specified above?

    I am happy to assist.

    The correct way of indexing dataseries/arrays in NinjaScript is to use positive integers, I suspect allowing negative indices is a hold-over from C/C++ for compatibility. In C/C++ when you use negative indexing you are essentially looking outside of the array in memory (unless you set the array up specifically for negative indexing), and you could possibly pull a number completely unrelated to whats in the array.

    For now, I suggest always using positive indices.
