    manual exit from strategy

Is there any way to manually modify a trade that has been placed and filled by my Strategy? (Such as changing the Profit Target or even Closing the Order once it has been filled) If I see the trade going against me I would like to exit earlier than waiting until my stop is hit. I've tried to hit the "close" button on the DOM but it does not cancel my trade. I also tried to place an opposite market order but it does not affect the strategy order.

    Thanks,

    jhill

jhill, if you would like to manually intervene your strategy generated orders I would recommend using the ATM strategy methods in your NinjaScript strategy, that would allow you to manage the exits via a regular ATM strategy launched by your strategy on the ChartTrader or SuperDOM panel.

This link here contains an overview over the related methods : http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...gy_methods.htm

A fully working example is installed per default with NT with the 'SampleAtmStrategy'.
