contract rollover with strategies

I have set strategies with the appropriate front contract. However, now we have rolled over. Is there a way to edit the strategy so I can simply change the contract expiry date without having to reset all my parameters? Is there a way to do this automatically? to the front month.

Hi Matt, that would be unfortunately not possible, you would need to start a new instance on the new contract, for the parameters you could save a template for the strategy with a right click in the paramters section so it's reused if you restart it on the new contract expiry.

I don't see where I can do that. For some instruments, I have different parameters. Is it possible to save the template for multiple instances?

You would right click in the parameters area to be able to save a default for this strategy then. Unfortunately I would not be possible to create custom strategy parameters templates here.
