Managed Order handling - enter to opposite size

How can I enter a position opposite to the one currently open, when using managed order handling?

What about if the first order was not yet filled (i.e. the position is flat)?

Currently, I get a "**NT** An Enter() method to submit an entry order at '03/01/2011 09:30:00' has been ignored" error.

Thank you for your post.

It is not possible to enter a long order and a short order using the same instrument. Once long, if you placed a short order, you would then be flat using the managed approach.

You would need to use the unmanaged approach to long and short in the same market.
