    Debugging Question

    Hello,

I have a question concerning using the Visual Studio Breakpoints in order to assist me in debugging my C# script.

In the Ninja Trader Help Guide, under NinjaScript\Editor\Visual Studio Debugging\4. it says “Run your NinjaScript object in NinjaTrader and it should stop at your break points and all the debugging tools and information should be available to inspect the current state of the code.”

I was able to complete steps 1-3 of the Help Guide to enable Visual Studio Debugging, but can’t find a “Run” in the NT editor referred to in Step 4. Could you explain what is meant by the “Run your NinjaScript object” statement in Step 4.

    Thanks!

    Jack

Hi Jack, to run your NinjaScript, we mean put it on a chart or something like that. Anything that calls your indicator is what we mean by "run" your NinjaScript.
