beginner, newbie questions

so after playing around with ninja trader for a little bit and reading some of the help guides i am convinced that it will replace my old charting software. But i have some questions.

1.) Am i able to set up auto trader to trade options instead of the stock itself?
2.) i need an alert to do a weighted average of 5-6 incidactors, is this possible? How do i learn to build a strategy and or can i hire someone to do it?

Thank you for your note and welcome to NinjaTrader!

1) Unfortuantely NinjaTrader does not support option at this time. Only futures, forex and equities.

2) To do this would require a custom indicator which would not be too hard to build depending on what indicators you needed to be weighted.

You can contact one of our NinjaScript consultants to assist you with coding this or you can use our NinjaScript guide and forums to code this indicator yourself if you are a programmer.
