Strategy failure

Hi

I have some strategies which when I switched on earlier were working fine.

I then tried duplicating some and got in to a mess with namespace etc so decided to build from scratch again.

Unfortunately I just keep getting Error on Generating Strategy, This also happens on building a base strategy and existing strategies including the ones included with NT7.

I have tried deleting Custom > NinjaTrader>Custom.DLL and rebooting to no avail.

Alan, are you creating the strategies from the Strategy Wizard? If so, you'll have to open up another strategy that isn't Wizard generated and hit the F5 key to compile it and that will show you the complete error. Once you get that complete error, please let me know what it is. Thank you.

Thanks Austin, I dont know how to attach a copy. It was a copy of the NT MA Crossover, when compiled it brings up errors from the rogue script! It happens with all strategies including new ones using the builder.

Errors are CS1513 CS1518 CS1001 CS1022

The first one is } expected, but the code is fine

saintalan, all of the error messages are from the 'PrimoEngulfingBars' indicator. Please delete that indicator by going to Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator -> select PrimoEngulfingBars -> click the delete button. Then you can open up any other script and try compiling it and everything should compile successfully.

Many thanks Austin, that seems to have sorted it, I obviously had somehow saved it as a strategy and an indicator and was too stupid to see the word INDICATOR in the error ;-))
