2 Orders

hi,
I assume this has been covered but i cannot find the links or referance.
At the Open of the bar i am trying to fire 2 orders one long and one short. Both a set criteria and ticks from the open.
I can get one firing but the other does not come up. When i switch the orders around the same thing viseversa.
The orders i am using are EnterLongStop for both sides one long and the other short.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

IISSG, you are likely running into the internal order handling rules that prevent two opposing orders from being active at the same time. If you set TraceOrders = true in the Initialize() section of your code, you'll see this in action.

In order to get around this, you'll have to use an Unmanaged strategy, which means NinjaTrader will let you do whatever you want with your orders, but there is a bit more to manage yourself. You can find the help guide page for the Unmanaged approach here.
