Donchian channel breakout

I'm new to the Ninjatrader world and was looking for a basic Donchian Channel Breakout to create in the Strategy Wizard. For example, I would look to go long after the most recent bar 1 tick higher that the high of the last 30 bars and short in the opposite direction. Once I have the basic idea of how its created I can work from there to tweak it to my preferences. I would also be able to look at it in the Ninjascript and begin to understand how the code is written. Thanks

You can easily create custom trading strategies using our Strategy Wizard to Help Get you started.

You will find the DonchianChannel as one of the preconfigured methods available for you to
use:

You will also want to use the MAX indicator to get the highest high of the last 30 bars:

Once you have created the conditions using the Strategy Wizard, you can review the code by either selecting "View Code" from the Strategy Wizard. If you would like more information on the NinjaScript code, please review our Help Guide section on that topic.
