OnTermination()

The documentation of this method is rather brief.
Would it be OK to use OnTermination() to close any open positions when a strat is disabled by the user? Or can it only be used to clean up resources as implied in the documentation?

Yes I was able to compile methods that run in OnBarUpdate here. So it is possible to do.

In the documentation, the required syntax is -

protected override void OnTermination()
{
// Clean up your resources here
}

Surely I should not put that inside OnBarUpdate()
Otherwise not sure what you mean by " I was able to compile methods that run in OnBarUpdate"

Correct no, you dont put in OnBarUpdate().

What I mean is that I was able to access position and order objects from OnTermination so it is possible to do.
