    Chart trader showing a closed strategy position

    NT support,

    I’ve just had a trade occur this morning with my strategy. It is an automated strategy running from the strategies tab within the control centre. I opened the chart to check the progress of the strategy and enabled the Chart Trader to check where the Stop and Limit orders were placed. The trade was closed this morning at about 7am. However, the chart trader seems to not have fully acknowledged that the trade is close as part of the Chart Trader is still showing an the entry point.

      This is live market feed using MBT into the Sim101 account.

        Hello,

        Ok thanks for that information.

        I see this sometimes with stuck order on the simulator.

        IF you repair the database and disconnect reconnect see if this resets it. Every so often I see this on simulator fills.

        Follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.
        • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
        • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
        • Select the "Data" tab
        • Press the "Repair DB" button
        • Press the "OK" button

            Hello,

            It is an issue that occurs due to an exact combination of data/ or lack therof/ connection loss or some other external factor that causes this to occur with the simulator.

            We have looked to duplicate and see if we can resolve any underlying issues.

            The problem is we can never duplicate it. Therefor we will not be able to resolve the issue until I can send development something that is reproducible in this specific case or some case scenario when it occurs.

            Please keep an eye on it and if you see it occur again please report here and let me know if you can think of any sequence of events that may help with me getting a reproduce scenario or common scenario where this occurs to development.

              Hello,

              Also, if you remember the time and date this occured I'd love to take a look at log and trace files at this time to see if there is anything there.

              In the last few trace files I've seen from you there have been a number of disconnect in your connection. I highly suspect this is the cause at this time.
