ExitShort not working

I entered short with name "FiboShort" on a multi time frame strategy (NT 7.0.1000.4). Entry is on BarsInProgress = 1.
I want to exit position if actual close is above previous close for this i called
ExitShort( "FiboShort" ), but order is ignored with following message

FromEntrySignal='FiboShort' Reason='This was an exit order but no position exists to exit'

Thanks for the forum post.

When you are calling ExitShort() is it also in BarsInProgress==1 or a different BarsInProgress?

Also, I'm seeing something in the output window that looks off:

16.03.2011 12:06:00 Entered internal PlaceOrder() method at 16.03.2011 12:06:00: BarsInProgress=1 Action=Sell OrderType=Market Quantity=0

See how the QTY is == 0? Finally, The document you included the first entry from the output window is the first time it tried to exit. I need you to post the lines so that I can see the position it was in before it tried to exit.

i found my error (copy paste error) . I called ExitLong instead of ExitShort
