detecting other instance of the same strategy

I was wondering how I could go about programing the strategy so that it sees if there are multiple instances of it running, as in the strategy was put on the chart multiple times. This way I can program it in so that it stops trading so that it doesn't double up on contracts.

Thanks for your note.

Unfortunately there is no supported methods available to check this as it is specifically designed in NinjaTrader to allow someone to run multiple strategies even on the same instrument if they had wanted to as each strategy is self contained.

As with anything in live trading you must always be careful when you enable a live trading strategy to ensure you only enable the one you want.
