Testing a Strategy

I have developed a strategy. Working with the code is straight forward, but I am 100% baffled about how to test it. The control center UI is an absolute mystery to me. I have a data subscription to PFG. Could you point me to some resources that might show me how to go about testing a newly developed strategy?

"market replay" does actual REPLAY of recorded data on your machine.

you'll need to turn that on.

search the help for that if that's what you need.

there's the other way of testing off of non-tick bar based data.. i haven't done that in a long time.

To let it trade on Market Replay data against the simulation engine, just download the needed data to replay from our servers (version NT7 only) and connect to the per default setup Market Replay connection then to proceed - http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...ket_replay.htm
