Is there a way to exit a trade say after a set time frame e.g. 5 mins?

Example: I'm short 1 Lot of XYZ and I dont want to be in the position for more than 5 minutes. Exit trade.

Yes there is several ways to do this:

First thing you have to consider is when your strategy will calculate.As we need to insure it will calculate in the 5 minute time frame to decide what method to use.

What time nframe chart are you running on and are you running with Calculate on bar Close = True or False?
