SetStopLoss & SetProfitTarget difference?

For these two methods, the NS reference describes the "currency" parameter respectively like this:

For SetStopLoss: "Sets the stop loss amount in currency ($500 profit for example)"

For SetProfitTarget: "Sets the profit target amount in currency ($500 profit for example)"

I'm confused. Is the "$500 profit" example in SetStopLoss a typo? Should it be "$500 loss?" If not, what is the difference between these two methods?
