LineBreak and Time???

LineBreak bars are built based solely on price movement with no regard to time or volume.

This is what your user guide says. I understand how a new bar is formed by breaking the high or low but what does the "base period type" and "base period value" of "Time" have to do with the bar creation when description says "no regard to time"?

Ken, your understanding is correct - the final LineBreak bars creation is not tied to time, as solely the breaks determine when those should occur - you would still need an underlying series to drive the calculations from, that are the base period type and value.
