Strategy wizard: how to select boolflag in strategy actions pane?

Hello,

I'm using the strategy wizard:

I set up two user defined boolean inputs:

enterlong=true
entershort=true

I can select these in the strategy conditions window, but not in the strategy actions window pane....why is that, and how do I solve this?

earhere, if you wish to use variables in the Strategy Wizard, you can only set the UserDefinedVariables, not user defined inputs.

Where do I specify these variables? ? Can they only have numerical values?

These variables can be set in the Misc category and read in the User Variables category.

I created a quick example for you. If the current bar's close is greater than the open, it sets the value of Variable0 to 1. A quick side note here, you can use 0 for false and 1 for true - they are only numeric. The next condition set looks to see if Variable0 is 1 (true). If it is, a long order is placed and the variable is reset to 0, ready to go for the next occurrence.
