Visualising a multiple instruments

I’m wondering if you could please help me?

Is there any way to visual (review a chart) of secondary instruments in a strategy (e.g. adding a chart in some way)? I’m backtesting a strategy which I plan to test across a portfolio of instruments and I would like to visually check the trades with each instrument.

If not, any other workarounds?

drolles, only the primary series would be shown if you backtest, the Add() series is only internal for the calculations. To look into the conditions, you need to work directly from the charts and then add the series as needed for visualization.

I think you mean that I need to add additional DataSeries to the chat within the Strategy Analyser and then look to see if a trade would have been taken, is that correct?

Sorry, what I meant was for debugging signals you would need to work on the regular charts as they would support MultiSeries charting, so you can setup the exact environment the strategy internally operates in...the SA chart would always visualize the primary series only.

Thanks for the reply. Thanks also for letting me know the limitation and providing a workaround.

Can we please add this to the development requests? I thought it had been discussed that portfolio modelling / portfolio script development was going to be future enhancements?

You're welcome drolles, this is added to our list of feedback - for backesting there's no a combined results available in the Strategy Analyzer, though not full Portfolio testing, it gives you simple overview over combined strategy performance.
