Market Replay

I'm having trouble playing back market replay. I have plenty of data, recorder is enabled, but after connecting to market replay and picking a date to start at, and pushing the play button, I get no price movement. Is there something I need to enable before it will play or what?

I use market replay a lot. After clicking start, sometimes it takes a minute or so before it starts processing data.

Please try right clicking first of all in the replay control to see exactly what data to replay would be available, then ensure the date and sessions on the chart are set as needed for the data to show up. It's also helpful to check if you see price movement displayed in your Control Center basic quotes section.

I am having this same replay issue (NT 7). I have right clicked the replay control to see the available data (I am replaying S&P 500 ES mini) and the instrument panel shows price movement for the contract when I put the expiration date of that contract in the panel- but I do not get any price movement on the chart. Do I need to enter the appropriate contract instrument on the chart? If so, does that mean if I want to replay older market data that I should not get rid of older contracts from the instrument panel?

Correct, you want to use the desired expiry on the charts as well - please also ensure you use the desired session template for the charts, per default the RTH / Cash hours of the instrument are used here.
