Correct, you would not see a rejection happeing, since we 'catch' it already by changing qty then - I restate : an order with 0 value does not make sense.

Actually this does make sense to me. I have tried to do the same thing and definitely the order quantity gets changed. ONE of the reasons I want to try this is to allow a re-entry while a 'runner' is in play, but I use the 'runner' as a placeholder to keep the strategy active, not to actually be a trade itself as it would get stopped out with a potential loss.

Hope the above makes sense. Please consider quantity=0 or some optional 'switch' workaround to not have it change to quantity = 1 by default.

It came to my mind, further, why I am trying to do this: elements, positions, etc within one strategy cannot be accessed by another strategy, so if I want to use what is happening within the strategy to re-enter with another small quantity or smaller target, lets say after 2nd of 4 targets has been completed, [[ PT2 = 10 ticks, PT3 = 26 ticks, PT1 = 6 ticks]], it is useful that the strategy keeps active while that re-entry is attempted, not suddenly closed by hitting PT3 while trying to re-enter PT1.

Hope this help to influence the development team to consider practicality of quantity=0.
