Intermittent rejected order

    Intermittent rejected order

    I have a stop order that gets rejected oncea week.. When I reload the chart the stop is in the correct place (the "r-s") on the chart.. I have traceorders on,, but didnt have the output window open, so nothing recorded for the traceorders, be nice if the output window if open on close would reopen..
    .There is a vast difference where the log is saying the stop is trying to be placed 1153 and the actual stop placement on the reload 1148.75...

    any ideas

    Hello gg80108,

    You'll have to debug the level that the stop loss is submitted at. TraceOrders output is good for this.

    If you want to see the exact values used, please see this sample on monitoring stop loss values. You can print the exact price that the order is submitted at.

      Trace order and log don't match

      Attached is the TraceOrders and the Log.. Don't know where the log is getting the sell at 1163 ?

        From the log:

        'Sell stop or sell stop limit orders can't be placed above the market.'


        You'll have to debug the level that the stop price is submitted at. See earlier post for help on how to expose this.

            Yes, TraceOrders output is one tool to use for debugging strategy orders.

                  Why should TraceOrders and the NT log differ?? this sounds like an NT7 issue!!!!
