SellShort and BuyToCover

Using a planning Unmanaged, I would want to have some explanations on the Buy, BuyToCover, Sell and SellShort. I have a lot of experience of planning in Easy Language with Tradestation 8.0, therefore I suppose that the meaning is the same. I would want to have a confirmation.

Thank you for your post.

Buy - Enter long position
SellShort - Enter short position.
Buy to cover - close short position.
Sell - close long position.

SellToCover???

In the education orderaction. appear 4 select orderaction.Buy, orderaction.Sell, orderaction.SellShort and thing orderaction.BuyToCover they correspond considering that I don't find SellToCover? Thanks.

I apologize - there is no Sell to cover.

SellShort is to enter a short position and Sell is to close long positions.
