Tick Offset Percent

When setting tick offset in an indicator for arrow placement what does the following percent code represent? I'm placing arrows in a Macd panel.

Ken, this expresses the offset in percent, however you should enter for example 1 % as 0.01.

Specifically, what does the "1" represent and what does the "-6" represent?

These refer to the offsets from a value. You can see the resulting math from your offset selection. As Bertrand indicates, you will want to express percents in decimal form.
1% = .01
50% = .5

* (1 + -6) Ok, so the 1 represents 100%? 100% of what? What does the -6 represent? 100% - 600%? That doesn't make any sense. This is a percent offset for an arrow pointing at the macd on a macd panel. The scale is 1 to -1. I understand on the price panel if I tell an arrow to have a -1 tick offset to the low of a bar that NT will place the arrow 1 tick below the low of the bar. But ticks don't work on the macd and I'm trying to understand the logic of percent offset. So... what does the 1 and the -6 represent?

They represent whatever you had selected in the GUI to generate the code.

You would not want to specify 6% as 6, but rather .06. Is this not clear?
