    Compilation error with new Strategy

I get a compilation error when compiling a script that I am developing. It states that a tmp file cannot be found and then if I try it again it states that the NinjaTrader.Custom.dll is missing. I have to move the script file out of the strategy folder and copy in a backup of NinjaTrader.Custom.dll into the BIN\Custom folder and then recompile another script that I know works. Then everything is back to normal except I don't know what is wrong with my script. I do not get any errors from inline syntax checking only when I attempt to compile the script.

How do I debug errors in that occur during compiling?

    I am using version 7.0.021.

    Hello,

Thank you for your forum post.

Can you please take a screenshot of your references. This is found by right clicking on the code editor where you type the text into for the NinjaScript and then select References.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

I look forward to assisting you further.

          Resolution to the problem

Thanks Brett for your help. I wanted to attach a synopsis of the resolution to this problem in case anyone else encounters this type of error.

Brett and I talked over the phone and after trying many different things. It came down to the problem that CA Security Center was blocking write access to the NinjaTrader folders under my Documents. I was not happy with CA anyway, so I uninstalled it and the problem was resolved. So, if you get this type of error you should check your security software to see if it is blocking access.
