Run a strategy and optimizer simultaneously

I need to run an optimizer and the strategy it is optimizing at the same time. I’m doing this by running two separate analyzers, but the strategy itself doesn’t seem to run as long as the optimizer is going.

Anyone have any ideas how to do this?

I am not exactly sure what you are expecting with this case. An optimization run would be expected to take much longer to run than a single regular backtest as there are much more iterations to test in an optimization.
