FirstBarOfSession

Hello Support,

I use the FirstBarOfSession variable for Trade count initialization as suggested in an NT Sample. I notice the variable also turns true when passing 00:00 (midnight) local time. What is the cause? Is there setting somewhere that cause this?

Hello Edwardk,

Session is associated with the defined session times.

Version 6.5:
This is seen when right clicking on chart > properties. Session Begin and Session End defines this.

If you run a strategy somewhere else (strategies tab, strategy analyzer) you will also see these properties.

Version 7:
This is defined with the session template used. This is available on chart through right click > Data Series. Also when you run a strategy elsewhere you have the option of selecting a specific session template. Times used for sessions are defined under the Tools > Session Manager screen.
