Comparing Strategy Results in 6.5 to 7.0

I have been working on a strategy in 6.5 which I froze the code more then two months ago. At that time, I started testing the strategy daily with real-time streaming data (eSignal). This last weekend, I worked to port this strategy to NT7 as I want to use the Kinetick data service. Did not have to do much except rewrite DoubleMA.

To test in NT7, I imported the data from 6.5. Not a problem except the backtesting results are different and comparing the daily results, there are some days where the results have some big swings. So, my question is, can exporting data from 6.5 to 7.0 result in changes?

BTW, I compared the DoubleMA I wrote with the 6.5 version and the Values checkout.

    Hello netjms,

There shouldn't be any change to actual data values, but version 7 offers session templates, which may change the way your data is structured. Values in 6.5 are assigned only to the calendar day but in 7 sessions can be defined as overlapping two days.

In addition, any changes related to code can be seen here:
Contains critical information including but not limited to migration, installation, connections and changes.
