Forex: How to specify quantity to trade

I have a 1-min chart of $GBPUSD using data imported from TS. I have coded my NT strategy to trade a quantity of 100000 and have the following sample trade:

    Buy 100000 @ 1.5736
    Exit 100000 @ 1.5776

for a 40 pip profit which is showing up as $400 in my strategy report.

    QUESTIONS:
    1) Is the $400 the correct profit for my example?

    2) When I trade live with a broker and want to trade a single standard sized lot of 100000, do I specify 100000 or 1 in my strategy?

    Hello Terabyte,
I trade forex with MBTrading and your setting of 100000 would be consitent for both the strategy anlyzer and live trading. I can't say about other brokers. But you should check your settings on the initial set up with whatever broker you choose. I think NT has a page describing the settings for each broker.

To your question about the $400, that would be correct.
    Std lot of 100,000 GBP=$10.00/pip x 40 pips.
