Sendmail when chart trading

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a way to send mail on order execution when trading from the chart (using limit orders).
I figured that Strategies don't work along with chart trading, and that indicators don't see market execution data.
Is there any other solution?

Hi bkool,

Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically send an email from trades that are placed manually.

However I will forward this suggestion on to our development team for future consideration.

What about if I trade manually from one chart, and have a strategy that includes the sendmail procedure on another chart with the same instrument?

Hi bkool,

The code in the strategy, including the SendMail() will only have access to trades placed within the strategy, so again, not from manually placed trades.
