Simultaneous Strategies against same Instrument

Hello,

It seems that when multiple strategies run against the same instrument at the same time they may get confused. Is this true?

And, when you have an ATM against the same instrument as a Strategy, it seems that does not work well, at all.

Can you please advise on this issue? Is there documentation covering this issue?

Thank you for your forum post.

Why do you belive they would get confused? There should be no issues with this as each strategy is its own instance. Just have to make sure that both strategies are in sync. Meaning that if you have a strategy that is 2 long and a strategy that is 2 short your account position should be flat. If everything is in sync there then you should be good to go.


There is no specific documentation on running the same strategy on the same instrument at this time.

let me get back to you on this...there is a compounding issue that I need to address first that is obscuring this issue...it may resolve the problem....back later
