Can I write code in NinjaScript strategy to access SQL server database?

I want to write code in NinjaScript strategy to access SQL server database to retrieve some information that the strategy is based on. Is it possible to do that?

Besides, when I add reference to a assembly I developed, break points in that NinjaScript strategy within Visual Studio 2008 Pro are not triggered any more. Do I miss something? Thanks!
