Added Indicator - Exposing Properties?

When I Add an indicator in a strategy, what determines which properties for the indicator are exposed and can be modified by the user? Is there a way to allow the user to modify some properties and not others?

I don't see where the referenced post desribes which indicator properties are exposed or not exposed to the user. Is that described in the referenced post?

The indicators are added with the defaults as they are coded up unless you customize them as described in the tip.

Property Not Seen By User

The code for the indicator in question is attached. It is being added to a strategy using

 
Add(PMA_Status(colorFalling,colorNeutral,colorRising,fastPeriod,macdFast,macdPeriod,macdSlow,macdSmoothing,macdStdDev,pbBiasSelection,pbPeriod,stopDisplacement,stopPeriod,totalFalling,totalRising));

Why doesn't the user see the following property for that indicator?

dkrumholz, the complete indicator is added and only the plots the indicator has could be customized later on via the UI under the 'Indicators' section.

You could make a user input for your strategy so the user could select the backgroundcolors.
