Alert type/size/colour

I have created a simple strategy (my first) where if both of two indicators are > than their previous plot it prints a dot and visa versa.

This naturally means the dot prints ever bar. Is there a way to just print the first dot and not another one unil a different dot is printed i.e change of direction? Or could this only be done in an indicator?

Can you colour a bar using strategy or again can you only do this in an indicator?

Hi Hooya,

You can use a bool variable to track when the condition was first met, something like...

if (condition && bool==true)
{
DrawDot();
bool=false;
}

then set the bool back to true once you have a new condition met.

To paint the color of a bar, you can use BarColor
