Displacement

Is it possible to use the displacement feature of an indicator in the strategy wizard...? I use diaplaced moving averages but cant figure out how to enter them in the wizard screens....

If you want to compare an SMA from 3 bars ago to something else, for example, you can use the "Bars ago" parameter.

I want the marker to paint the bar that crosses the displaced moving average...as you can see if if I use the bars back field on the moving average indicator it does not put the mark in the right place(the white dots)...I want it to go on the bar where the arrow in the screen shot is....

What is the condition for the dots being painted?
(if you select "View code" you can copy paste the condition line(s))

Can you clarify what condition you want the arrow to be painted?

With the condition in the last screenshot, that should do what you described to "paint on the bar that crosses below the displaced mov avg".

but as you can see in the screen shot it does not paint the right bar...I will send another screenshot with a better example...
